Serve in a client-facing Controller role within the Managed Accounting Services practice, delivering client work at a premium level
Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes for multiple clients simultaneously
Proactively identify and solve client accounting challenges by developing a deep understanding of each client's business
Lead the monthly close of client books, including assigned journal entries, accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, and complex accounting items
Assist clients with proper transaction recording for revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity, and leases to ensure GAAP compliance
Maintain financial records for multiple clients and ensure accurate transaction recording
Plan, assign, and review work performed by Bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and provide feedback for improvement
