Summary You will serve as a SENIOR CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will use a wide range of contract types including Firm, Fixed Price, cost reimbursable, and incentive type contracts to support complex and high dollar sustainment contracts. You will perform or direct in-depth cost and price analyses as well as evaluations of the financial and technical capabilities of potential suppliers. You will use the latest and/or untested acquisition initiatives designed to improve overall contract performance and pricing. You will be responsible for contract administration and establishing post-award monitoring techniques to ensure contracts are performed as desired. You will analyze all cost elements, develop the government's position, and lead contract negotiations.
