Eligibility & Requirements

• Self‑identify with one of the four equity‑deserving groups under the Employment Equity Act or one of the protected groups under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
• Have 5 or more years of permanent contract teaching experience with another board, confirmed by resume and application.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective instruction, training and evaluation of pupil progress in assigned subjects.
• Manage the class or classes and keep the classroom ready for pupils at least fifteen minutes before the start of each school day in the morning, and five minutes before in the afternoon.
• Report to the principal on pupil progress and provide requested information.
