Job summary

This vacancy is for an existing
post, for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Teesside Liaison Service which is part
of Urgent Care Services. Urgent care services manage both MHSOP Liaison and
Adult Mental Health Liaison.

The main Liaison
team office is at Roseberry Park Hospital, Middlesbrough, which is adjacent to the James Cook
University Hospital site. Dedicated and shared office
space and the admin team are based at Roseberry Park Hospital. There is also a dedicated Liaison hot-desk
office in James Cook University Hospital

The Liaison
service offers a single seamless service across Adult Mental Health and MHSOP
and provides mental health support to patients in both the Emergency Department
and on the wards. There is a single point of referral for patients of any age
who are in the general hospitals.
