The Toucan West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) is seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist who is committed to working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. This post will provide medical leadership within a forming team transforming access to and from T4 services.
The Consultant will provide a central West Midlands system role delivering several psychiatric assessments for a caseload of complex patients. The Consultant will work closely with a strong team of clinical nurse specialists to coordinate psychiatric and medical risk management for CYP referred to and stepping down from T4. The Consultant will join the IROC team, contributing to the continuous development of the transformation of these services.
