The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures on‑site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel during the office fit‑out project.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor site‑specific safety plans
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies
Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments
Facilitate toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Recommend corrective and preventive measures
Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project‑in‑Charge on safety planning and enforcement
