Construction Engineer
General Description
The Construction Engineer is an entry level engineering position in the heavy highway/civil and site development fields of construction. The Construction Engineer will report to the Project Engineer on a jobsite.
Key Duties
Produce labor and equipment cost reports to monitor production costs, drive billing, budgets and costs to complete.Produce daily, weekly and monthly quantities to monitor production, drive management reports and reconcile owner quantities using Excel and SAP.Assists Field Engineer and Project Engineer in updating project schedule in P6.Initiates purchase orders, shop drawings, submittals and material deliveries.Prepare the forecasted final cost reports; Bi-monthly accumulation of costs and quantities for comparison of an as-bid to as-built.
