Proficient in using electricaland manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) 
Ability to read drawings 
Read blueprints, drawings andsketches to fully grasp requirements 
Take measurements and calculatethe size and amount of material needed 
Cut, shape and smooth lumberand other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
