# About the role:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Degree in Psychology or related field at least at the 2.1 level
2. Experience of working with people with severe mental health problems in the NHS
3. Proven ability to use initiative to efficiently plan, and progress projects
4. Proven ability to work effectively as a team member and with colleagues at all levels, as well as working alone
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. An understanding of confidentiality and protocols for ethics and data protection **Desirable criteria** 1. Experience of working as a research assistant and assessing people with severe mental health conditions.
