Duties & Responsibilities
Review hazardous materials shipments to ensure proper classification, documentation, labeling, and placarding in accordance with DOT regulations.Verify shipping papers and related documentation meet regulatory requirements and company standards.Monitor driver qualifications, including HazMat endorsement status, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Support compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 171–180) and assist in maintaining alignment with FMCSA and PHMSA requirements.Track and maintain hazardous materials registrations, permits, and compliance-related documentation.Monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to the Manager, HazMat Compliance and other stakeholders.Maintain and track hazardous materials training records for drivers and employees, ensuring compl...
