Position Overview
The incumbent in this position is responsible for all receptionist, communication and clerical functions on the nursing unit.
- Demonstrate ability to provide continuous quality services.
- Adheres to all safety and health regulations and demonstrates safe work practices.
- Accepts and works within the framework of the Hospital's philosophy, objectives and policies.
- Facilitate communication both written and verbal intra and interdepartmentally.
- Maintain records and reports.
- Transcribe physician orders as required.
- Facilitate good public relations intra and interdepartmentally.
- Maintain recording and audit systems designated by the Program Manager.
- Order supplies as required or requested.
- Initiate requisitions as necessary or as requested.
