Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes.
Assist department head in controlling and monitoring departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
Provide support on daily operations and mise en place.
Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships.
Attend and participate in training sessions as scheduled.
Ensure that all relevant buffet/display set‑ups are prepared ahead of guest arrival and in adherence with hotel standards.
Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
Assist with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of dishes.
Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
Clean and reset working area.
Ensure uniforms are always clean and tidy.
