We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to clients and advisors while managing various aspects of commercial insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
• Obtain quotes from insurers or create quotes as per binder agreements for new and existing clients, re‑broking, and policy amendments.
• Supply quotes to clients/advisors.
• Issue new business policies accurately on systems or via direct insurers.
• Process broker appointments.
• Manage policy amendments requested by clients/advisors, issuing confirmation of insurance coverage and updated policy schedules.
• Follow up on unpaid premiums as per company processes.
• Process policy cancellations, discussing requests with advisors and clients to confirm cancellations.
