You will be responsible for machining complex precision-engineered components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate CNC turning centres with FANUC controls and driven tooling.
Manufacture complex precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
Work confidently on medium to high-volume batch production.
Interpret engineering drawings, job routings, and technical specifications.
Set up and programme a wide range of turning and milling operations for both repeat and new components.
Identify and implement best-practice machining methods, work holding solutions, and tooling strategies.
Machine a variety of materials, including standard engineering grades and exotic alloys.
Carry out in-process inspections using a range of measuring and inspection equipment.
Ensure components meet customer specifications and quality standards.
