CMS Laser Tracker Technician - Barberton, OH Location: Barberton, OH, US Responsibilities Plan, develop and execute dimensional inspections utilizing CMMs, Laser Trackers, Articulated Arm Measuring machines, and 3D Scanning equipment to determine the acceptability of large pressure vessels and steam generating equipment. Review manufacturing plans to determine most suitable methods of inspection. Work with digital scan data to perform dimensional inspections. Develop scanning applications for use by various inspection groups. Assist with writing procedures and work instructions and other documentation as required. Perform inspection in a manufacturing shop environment. Work from heights using ladders, scaffolding and lifts. Entry into confined space may be required. Coordinate and work with shop supervision, manufacturing team members, and engineering staff. Qualifications Minimum of an Associate's degree, preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute.
