Summary: The Medication Management and Optimization team, part of the Department of Pharmacy, serves UNC Health, including hospitals, clinics, retail pharmacies, and other care settings, across North Carolina. The Medication Management and Optimization team provides formulary management, policy, clinical guideline, drug information, and other expertise to internal and external partners with the mission to develop optimal pharmaceutical care for all UNC Health patients. The team includes 5 Clinical Pharmacist Specialists and 2 Pharmacy Student Interns, which report to the Pharmacist Coordinator, Medication Management and Optimization.
