Position description

The UCLA General Internal Medicine Program has an opening for a full-time Extensivist Medicine physician serving the Greater Los Angeles area. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and clinical skills, and will have opportunities for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

Responsibilities include a minimum of 36 hours per week of direct patient care; clinical teaching of medical students and/or residents; participation in creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that may involve teaching, scholarly contributions and administration; and participation in university or public service.

The successful applicant will enjoy a full-time faculty appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
