Summary The incumbent serves as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Openings are currently available in Special Chemistry, Auto Chemistry, and Third Shift Generalist. The CLS develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates, and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results in line with current laboratory regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Duties and tasks include but are not limited to the following: Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of professional clinical laboratory science principles, practices, concepts, and theories that support sound, independent work.
