We’re seeking experienced Class 3 Drivers to service residential recycling and waste collection routes in Charlottetown. In this role, drivers will operate side-load or rear-load collection trucks to safely and efficiently collect waste and recycling materials within designated service areas. This is a physically demanding position that involves manually loading recycling materials into the truck; the successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent lifting and repetitive physical work throughout the shift. THE JOB 

Ensure timely delivery of gathered materials to designated disposal sites

Operate trucks and associated equipment safely and efficiently along assigned routes

Focus on securely delivering solid waste to designated disposal locations

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections daily

Maintain accurate records including daily truck reports and route sheets
