Overview Element has an opportunity for a Civil Material Technician for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports. Candidates should ideally have gained considerable experience in construction material testing either with a commercial test house or contractor.
Responsibilities - Perform various construction testing onsite such as concrete, soil, structural fixings and etc.
- Perform test as directed by customer specification/Engineer’s instruction.
- Operate testing independently and/or under supervision of senior test technician.
- Gather and record test data and be able to communicate properly with client onsite.
- Prepare and compile reports/worksheets as per supervisor’s instruction.
Skills / Qualifications - Working knowledge of laboratory safety & site safety.
