Developing plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, control systems for civil engineering projects such as roadways, bridges, dams, sewage systems etc.
Preparing project reports including design documents and test results.
Inspecting construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformity to design specifications.
Making sure that the project is completed within budget and on time.
Working closely with other engineers, architects, contractors and clients to ensure successful completion of projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and principles
Understanding of computer applications such as AutoCAD and MS Office
