Freese and Nichols is seeking Civil 3D CAD Technician – Urban Planning & Design in Austin or San Marcos, Texas, with additional opportunities in Lubbock or Denton, Texas. As Civil 3D BIM/CAD Technician, you will support Urban Planning & Design projects by developing accurate BIM/CAD drawings and production documents, applying FNI standards, and helping project teams move work from markups and concepts to quality final deliverables. This role will work primarily in Civil3D involving grading and site design for a variety of public works such as treatment plants, elevated storage tanks, pump stations, sidewalks and trails, as well as site planning/design for public buildings and facilities including coordination and support for landscape architecture. This role may also provide design support to landscape architecture for projects including public parks, plazas, athletic complexes, trails and similar projects.
