SUMMARY:
Prepare testing specimens and perform analytical testing by following laboratory procedures.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Prepare samples for chemical analysis by using various methods such as cutting, grinding, drilling and polishing equipment.Perform routine chemical analysis using the Leco Oxygen/Nitrogen, Leco Carbon/Sulfur, Panalytical XRF, and ARL Optical Emission Spectromter (OES) instruments including sample sectioning and surface preparation.Perform VIM In-process analysis including all preparation.Perform various mechanical powder testing such as Ro-Tap sieve analysis, Microtrac particle size distribution analysis and various density tests.Log batches and record results using th...
