ICFO is offering a staff researcher position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the chemistry lab facilities of the group (including safety, consumables, orders, budgeting, etc.).
• Developing know‑how on synthesis of nanomaterials as per the group’s project needs.
• Retaining know‑how generated by postdocs/PhD students and ensuring continuation of know‑how and activities on specific materials/processes.
• Training on the use of the chemistry lab and synthesis of nanomaterials of students and postdocs of the group.
• Supply of nanomaterials to scientific collaborators or industrial collaborators.
• Expected to contribute to scientific publication writing or proposal writing on tasks related to material synthesis.
