ResponsibilitiesCHARGE NURSE – LTAC Unit
Texas NeuroRehab Center is currently accepting applicants for a Charge Nurse (RN). This Candidate will assists the Director of Nursing with the administrative and clinical responsibility for nursing services on the LTAC unit. Supervises and provides direct patient care, nursing management, assessment, and crisis management. Provide leadership and effective role modeling for unit staff. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. Make patient & task assignments to nursing staff and monitors the performance of duties. Oversee new employee orientation to the unit for prn, float, & agency staff. Provide training and education to staff, patients, and families.
