JOB SUMMARYThe On-Highway Truck Driver is a vital member of the Paving Division team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials—specifically hot-mix asphalt (HMA), road base, and millings—to and from active paving sites. The On-Highway Truck Driver operates heavy-duty commercial vehicles (such as tractor-trailers, live-floor trailers, or end dumps) in a fast-paced environment. this position works primarily on public roadways and active construction zones, requiring a high level of situational awareness and strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Beyond driving, the individual acts as a key collaborator with the paving crew, ensuring timely material delivery to keep the paving train moving and assisting with equipment transport and general site labor as needed.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
