Taking measurements, drawing up plans for proposed works, sourcing materials, preparing estimates and undertaking shop visits.

Operate various hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete carpentry duties.

Installing wooden furniture, such as roof frames, display cabinets, door frames, etc., joists, studs, refining and retouching works.

Reading assembly plan and design plan and to work to specifications prepare by Designers.

Maintain daily housekeeping at workplace.

Maintain working tools and equipment in good condition.

Follows a few work practices in all aspect of work.

Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade.

Knowledge of cabinet‑making techniques.
