Job Summary:
The Caregiver is responsible for ensuring the safety, supervision, and well-being of children during night hours at the orphanage. The role includes monitoring children, responding to emergencies or emotional needs, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and providing proper handover updates to the morning team. The caregiver is expected to work independently while fostering a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
Child Supervision & Care:
Conduct regular rounds within the dormitories to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Monitor children throughout the night and respond promptly to emergencies, illness, nightmares, or emotional distress.
Assist younger children and children with special needs in toileting, hygiene, and settling down for sleep.
Provide emotional comfort and reassurance to children when required.
Ensure children adhere to bedtime routines and house rules.
