Shift Details: 6:30a-6:30p
Schedule: 3 12hr shifts/week- days will vary, 1 Saturday/Sunday every 4th weekend. No call
Work Details:
Support Staff: APPS work our surgeons, fellows, and residents.
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: looking for 2 full time NPs for 6 months
Patients per day: NP:Pt Ratio 8-9 max 10
Patient Population/Age: Adult Cardiac Surgery Step Down Unit
Department Description: Patients on this unit are typically post cardiac surgery patients: CABG, AVR, MVR, Heart Transplant, LVAD are examples of surgical procedures
EMR: Epic
Hospital Bed size: 1200. 39 beds on the post-operative unit where provider will be working
Skills Required: Cardiac Surgery NP experience
