Section Chief Heart Failure/LVAD/Transplant

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Section Chief of Advanced Heart Failure, who may also serve as the Medical Director of the Heart Transplantation and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Programs.

This individual will provide strategic, clinical, and academic leadership for one of the institution s most advanced and high-acuity cardiovascular programs. The Section Chief will oversee all aspects of advanced heart failure management, including specialized programs in cardiomyopathies and chronic heart failure, durable mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation, while driving continued program growth and excellence.
