Surgical Technologists play a vital role within this team, assisting in cutting-edge cardiovascular surgeries alongside esteemed surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff in a specialized setting.

Since the year 2000, our facility has led New England in adult heart transplants, achieving a remarkable total of 657 transplants. In 2024, we set a new regional benchmark by completing 70 adult heart transplants, exceeding the previous record of 61 set in 2023.
