Woolpert is hiring an Aviation CAD Technician I to join our dynamic Aviation Team at our Johannesburg office. This position reports to the Aviation Design Lead and is responsible for creating CAD layouts and drawings for civil airport infrastructure projects. Qualified candidates will be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with strong communication and design skills.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop CAD drawings and layouts for airport infrastructure projects.
• Prepare dimensional and installation drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Review and interpret survey data in collaboration with survey analysts.
• Develop dynamic design models including points, alignments, profiles, and cross sections.
• Perform quality control checks on construction plan sets and project documentation.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, market disciplines, and external subconsultants.
