The Cabling and Network Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of structured cabling systems and network infrastructure in commercial buildings, offices, retail outlets, schools, industrial facilities, and other non-data-center environments. The technician ensures reliable connectivity for voice, data, wireless, security, and communication systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesStructured Cabling Installation

+ Install, route, terminate, and label copper and fiber optic cabling.

+ Install Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic network cables.

+ Perform cable pulling through conduits, trunking, cable trays, and ceiling spaces.

+ Install patch panels, wall outlets, faceplates, and network cabinets/racks.

+ Ensure installations comply with industry standards and client specifications.
