The role
We are seeking a Buyer for a company within Aerospace industry.  this is to join our Procurement team. As the Buyer, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the commercial competitiveness, quality, and delivery performance of our supply chain. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

Negotiate new contracts and contract amendments with suppliers or prospects.
Manage suppliers’ contracts, including claims, contractual review meetings, and definition of continuous improvement targets (commercial competitiveness, quality and delivery performance.)
Anticipate end of contract and end of price validity by retendering.
Ensure suppliers’ financial health is checked and actions taken as appropriate.
