ROLE SUMMARY The Butcher is responsible for mincing, meat marination, and preparing required portions of meat in line with the customer’s requirements, section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. The role holder is also responsible for weighing meat, wrapping it and putting it out for display.
ROLE PROFILE - Apply proper meat preparation, cutting, and processing techniques according to customer requests and company SOPs.
- Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat cuts accurately and efficiently.
- Arrange and replenish meat products in display counters following presentation standards.
- Assist customers promptly and professionally, providing product information and recommendations.
