Job Overview

The Business Development Partner (BDP) is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, developing and coaching advisors during their first four years. The BDP works closely with the District Manager and regional teams to generate business results for the district and to support advisors in building a holistic financial services practice that includes life, health, and wealth products.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates for the Sun Life advisor role through community contacts, referrals, and centers of influence.
• Support candidates and ensure a positive onboarding experience, including licensing studies, market identification, business planning, and joint client appointments.
• Train and onboard new advisors, actively overseeing the successful implementation of their onboarding plan.
