The Business Development Manager is expected to leverage their industry knowledge and relationship-building skills to secure the specification and application of products within their assigned territory. This will drive sustained volume and sales growth across both the territory and the broader region.
Business Development:
- Identifying target accounts and understanding regional and client needs early on, driving early client engagement and positioning
- Specifying products in core institutional and other pertinent market segments within the territory
- Using and optimizing client relationship management (CRM) tool as a primary communication medium
- Understanding, categorizing, prioritizing, and managing clients while maintaining trusted client relationships
- Developing new business in core segments with key decision makers
- Developing new relationships with End Users, General Contractors, Architects and Interior Designers
