Business Analyst – Port Alberni, BC – Permanent, full‑time.

Role

The Business Analyst reports to the controller and is responsible for efficient delivery and reporting of financial information critical to the company's operations. The role supports month‑end processes, manufacturing cost, operating and financial analysis, and the development of annual operating plans for the mill.

Responsibilities

• Manage key month‑end functions: production setting, furnish balancing, product cost allocations, grade costing, and product statement preparation.
• Prepare and report monthly forecasts for the Port Alberni mill, coordinating submissions to Corporate Finance.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses related to mill operations and product costing.
