MAIN FUNCTION OF ROLE / DEPARTMENT
1.Responsible for the provision of specialist advice to the Committee Chair on the corporate governance of each meeting of the LCG in accordance with Legislative requirement, Codes of Conduct and Accountability. The post-holder will take appropriate follow-up action within the required timescales.
2. Responsible for the provision of high quality secretariat support to the LCG / Commissioning Group meetings. The post-holder will engage directly with the Chair, Commissioning Lead and Senior officers to co-ordinate business, develop agendas and produce briefing papers on major issues. The post-holder will prepare Chair’s notes, produce formal minutes of the meetings and ensure follow-up action is monitored and reported at the subsequent meeting.
