Burn Table Operator – Youngstown, OH
A well-established local company is looking to add a Burn Table Operator to their team! This is a great opportunity with steady hours, possible overtime, weekly pay, and wages based on experience.
Shift: 10:30pm-6:00am
Pay: 17-21 hourly (weekly pay)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate programmable burn tables to cut steel plates, structural materials, and extrusions.
- Operate cutting equipment including multi-torch systems, hand torches, and oxygen-acetylene flame cutters.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, cutting lists, and verbal instructions.
- Determine cutting paths and procedures based on job specifications.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on burn equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
