The Town of Longmeadow, MA DPW is seeking qualified applicants for PT (20 hours per week) or FT (40 hours per week) positions of Building Maintenances Technician/Electrician. Position is responsible for skilled electrical work at the journeyman level and other maintenance work as assigned.
Successful candidate must have:
Knowledge of relevant Massachusetts General Laws related to essential functions. Knowledge of facility maintenance and working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to electrical maintenance and repair activities. Working knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and tools used in modern electrical repair and maintenance.Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
