Under the direction of the special education teacher, the behavior coach will provide assistance to children who are in a special education program. Qualifications include experience working with emotionally/behaviorally disabled/disordered students in a school, mental health, or hospital setting preferred, knowledge of child development concepts and practices, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card, Crisis Prevention Intervention certification, and First Aid and CPR training certification.
