We are looking for a Befriender Volunteer to provide meaningful companionship at our supported living service in Doncaster. Volunteering with Creative Support is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person-centred care.
We're seeking someone who is warm, sociable, and a great listener. As a Befriender, you'll spend time with the people we support, offering friendly conversation and companionship through regular meet-ups. If you can spare a couple of hours and are able to volunteer on a consistent basis, we'd love to hear from you.
Activities might include having a relaxed cup of tea, playing a board game or getting out and about in the community. This role could develop further into planning and delivering regular activities for the people we support.
