Role Summary

Under the supervision of the Contracts Specialist, the Contracts Officer supports the planning, development and execution of procurement strategies for ICT goods and services. The incumbent contributes to the timely and compliant procurement of digital solutions, connectivity services, cloud-based services, software, ICT infrastructure and related managed services.

Key Accountabilities

• Review procurement requirements and requisitions to ensure completeness, quality and compliance with UNICEF policies and procedures.
• Support the development of procurement plans and sourcing strategies for ICT goods and services.
• Conduct market research and vendor outreach to identify qualified suppliers and emerging technologies relevant to UNICEF operations.
• Support the preparation and review of Statements of Work (SOWs), Terms of Reference (TORs) and technical specifications.
