Responsible for all offshore construction work to be performed by the barge and control of activities engaged in laying underwater pipelines, risers, and installation of jacket, decks, and related structures. Ensures that all deck operations on the barge are carried out safely and efficiently.

• Report to Barge Superintendent / Assistant Barge Superintendent / Field Engineer for all matters of construction works and progress of the job.
• Supervise all personnel on deck and ensure that work is carried out as per plan and that high-quality work is delivered.
• Supervise maintenance of the barge, including conducting timely repairs and upgrades. Coordinate with the Chief Engineer / Chief Mechanic on equipment functionality and operational status.
