The post holder will work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives and carers.

To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision

To act as the designated deputy to the Ward Manager

To teach and supervise junior and unqualified staff and maintain a learning environment.
