Automotive Mechanic

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in diesel and gasoline engines

Experience

• Passenger cars
• Utility vehicles (UV)
• Small trucks up to 10‑wheelers
• Proficient with OBD scanners for ECU‑equipped vehicles
• Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems
• Basic experience with welding, including oxy‑acetylene
• Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline vehicles
• Use diagnostic tools (OBD scanner) to troubleshoot engine and ECU issues
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance
• Assist in welding and fabrication work when needed
• Ensure vehicles are safe, efficient and roadworthy
