Job Description
The Automation Control Engineer focuses on the controls of the system while collaborating with mechanical, vision, and validation teams. The automation team designs and develops systems for manufacturing products, improving current manufacturing processes, and supporting new product development.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the automation team to determine project direction.Provide designs that ensure operator safety.Collaborate on the design, assembly, and testing of fixtures, robotic cells, and end-of-arm tooling.Design schematic and electrical panel layouts.Troubleshoot and improve existing equipment when necessary.Perform research, analysis, design, and development of lean manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment for new and existing projects.Support Manufacturing and Production staff to solve technical, quality, and pro...
