Summary This position serves as an Attorney-Adviser to a Member of the National Labor Relations Board. The Board is responsible for the adjudication of unfair labor practice cases and representation cases arising under the provisions of the National Labor Relations Act of 1935, as amended. Responsibilities As a Attorney-Adviser (Labor) (Counsel to Board Member), GS-0905-13, your typical work assignments may include: Studying and analyzing the records in cases which are before the Board for adjudication in order to advise and assist their Board Member and other Members of the Board in reaching a final decision. Researching legal precedent under the National Labor Relations Act while paying careful attention to the facts and legal issues involved. Orally presenting and discussing the merits of the case and related matters to their Board member, a Panel of three Board members, or to the full Board, as required.
