Job Overview
The primary responsibilities for the Athletic Trainer are to provide superior rehabilitative care to injured athletes and patients, educate the public on injury prevention, rehabilitation, wellness and other health-related issues, and maintain the highest standards of care to student athletes under the direction of the team physician.
The Athletic Trainer I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP). Team members in this position may work in a clinical setting or an outreach setting. In a clinical setting, the Athletic Trainer I performs orthopedic evaluation of patients and communicates findings. In an outreach setting, the Athletic Trainer I provides daily medical coverage for trainings, practices and events.
